Terrorists Ultimate Aim
The terrorists seem to strike at unlikely targets and in unexpected ways leaving many in the western world confused. There are no demands as the Palestinian terrorists made when they held a commercial jet, its passengers and crew on the end of a runway.
The truth is that they have no actual demands to make. Their attacks are meant to provoke the western world into a retaliation that results in the death of many Muslims in their midst as possible. The larger the attack, they hope, the larger the response against them and the citizens around them. It seems foolhardy until you understand their ultimate goal.
You see they are working towards a new world order when Islam rules everyone. They want a group similar to the Taliban to control everyone on the planet. They see Westerners as infidels that must be purged from the world and they must be its ultimate ruler. Their leaders have said as much in interviews with the exception of Bin Laden who remains silent on his ultimate goal. You can discern their goal by recognizing that every time the west threatens retaliation, they call for a Jihad or holy war by all Muslims against the west. Why involve the entire Muslim worldwide community unless a war between Islam and the West in not their goal. The Bin Ladens actually think they could win a holy war and subjugate the world in the end. So is the extent of their delusions. All they will ultimately suceed in is killing themselves, many thousands of innocent Western and Eastern civilians and defaming the peaceful religion that Islam is.
