RE: China's Million Dollar Bill

It is just me or has anyone else seen the humor in the US' offer to pay the Chinese Government $34,567. I find humor in the fact that the series of number are 3-4-5-6 and 7. I think someone at the US state department is trying to coyly have a little fun with the Chinese's demand.

I'd be interested in seeing an itemized bill and whether the items each have an equally interesting sequence of numbers. The Chinese have balked at accepting this amount. Are they bargaining or just interested in what the next US offer's sequence of numbers will be.

Perhaps an offer of $123,456.78 might be what they are looking for.
