My Client has Been Forthcoming
These are the words of Mr. Abbe Lowell, attorney for one Congressman Condit. His client had just been interviewed for a 3rd time by the police and his admission was prompted by an aunt of the missing intern telling news agencies what her missing niece had told her, that she was having an affair with the congressman.
Just how many interviews will it take for the congressman to come clean and give investigators what they need to fully investigate the intern's dissapearance? How gullible does Abbe Lowell think the average American is to accept his client has has been forthcoming when his client has been anything but forthcoming. Does the lawyer really expect listeners to believe that when the police asked about his relationship with the intern, telling them that he was or had had a relationship with her would have been the expected response?
This appears to be a response to the Clinton Presidency where denying everything is the order of the day until caught in a outright lie, and then try and make it sound less that what it is.
