The world's an ashtray

Did you ever notice how smokers act like the world is one giant ashtray? Done smoking a cigarette, toss it on the ground. Done with a cigarette pack, toss that too on the ground. If they carried the cigarette carton under there arm, that (I assume) too would also be tossed on the ground when they were done with it.

Can anyone think of anything more disgusting than smokers' attitudes and habits?!? And put the lit cigarette out before tossing it, don't even think about it.

The only other people who come close are those looking to secure a comfortable retirement buying the lottery scratch tickets. Scratched the ticket and it's not a winner, toss it to the ground. Scratch the next ticket. Not a winner either, toss it.

I can only assume these folks view themselves as priviledged as they feel someone else should be given the task of picking up after them. I wonder if they toss cigarettes and scratch ticket on the floor where they live? If they do, it must be a disgusting sight!
