Motorcycles Are Everywhere

We frequently see bumper stickers with the reminder "Motorcycles Are Everywhere" and that we should be aware to avoid them. They would be easier to avoid if they weren't everywhere and instead stayed in the marked lanes of the roadways and highways like the rest of us. Why motorcyclists feel they are entitled to ride down the lane dividers, breakdown lanes, etc. and the rest of us must make an effort to locate them and avoid running them over escapes me. I figure anyone with a death wish is someone who would rather not be avoided and be put out of their misery as soon as possible.

I certainly wouldn't deliberately try to hit a motorcyclist, but I certainly don't intend to put myself out trying to figure what part of the roadway one of them has decided to ride on today.
